InstiCo Logistics

Overview

In transportation, exception management is the process of identifying shipment issues before they become service failures. It helps teams prioritize the most critical problems and assign clear ownership for resolution. The goal is to address disruptions quickly and minimize their impact on delivery performance.

It enables logistics teams to reduce the number of cargoes that are treated alike and shift their efforts to where they are needed.

Teams employ management by exception to keep track of normal operations and only take action when a shipment deviates from normal. This allows less noise, faster response time, and helps companies maintain delivery performance without burdening their operations team.
