InstiCo Logistics

Overview

Logistics teams have been relying on a mix of spreadsheets, e-mails, telephoning, and uncoordinated systems for years. All these methods may have worked in the past with a smaller volume and a more straightforward supply chain, but today’s business environment demands a different strategy. Customers expect real-time visibility into their shipments, while finance teams require accurate and timely billing. At the same time, compliance teams need complete documentation, and leadership expects operations to scale without significantly increasing costs.

The problem is that when organizations realize they need to change processes, they often do so only when inefficiencies start to impact customer satisfaction and profitability. Late invoices, missing documents, duplicated data, and lack of visibility tend to creep up over time, and can be considered trivial problems rather than a sign of a bigger problem in the system.
